THE FOUNDER

Hi, I’m Richard Brockhurst — founder of 555.

After years in the fitness industry and co-founding 3 Aces Training, a strength and conditioning gym in central London, I’ve had the privilege of coaching people from all walks of life — from busy professionals struggling with chronic tightness and stress, to athletes recovering from injuries and trying to regain confidence in their movement.

What drives me is simple: helping people feel better in their bodies, reconnect with training in a way that makes sense for them, and find balance in their everyday life. I’ve seen firsthand how small, consistent changes can transform not just physical performance but energy, mood, and confidence.

Over time, my focus shifted from purely gym performance to what actually supports long-term health — not just strength or aesthetics, but how we manage stress, move efficiently through life, and make choices that align with how we want to feel and live.

I care about building trust, doing things properly, and supporting people in ways that fit their real lives, not some idealised version of it. Whether it’s helping a client move past years of chronic tightness, navigate a high-stress job without burnout, or find the confidence to enjoy activities they thought were “off-limits,” my goal is always the same: sustainable change and stronger, healthier habits.

Outside of coaching, I enjoy golf, surfing, hiking, and cycling, as well as quiet time at home cooking, reading, and spending time with my family. I find that these moments remind me why balance and lifestyle matter just as much as strength and fitness.
